Unveil of Materials Innovation Exchange at Seattle Greendrinks ...

Materials Innovation ExchangeNBIS is building a national showcase and Exchange for innovators in materials reuse. The Materials Innovation Exchange is an online resource that helps companies turn waste into revenue and reduce environmental impacts. The site is an active Exchange where companies can buy, sell and trade materials, as well as share innovative stories, ideas and tools.

We?ll be unveiling the Exchange to the public on Tuesday, August 14th at the Seattle Greendrinks Picnic, sponsored by BECU. NBIS will have a booth at this event and we?ll be providing live demo?s of the Exchange. The event is a picnic in partnership with Sustainable Seattle and will be held at:

If you know a company who could benefit from the Materials Innovation Exchange, we are actively seeking participants. Posting materials online is FREE! Participation allows us to attract more companies, form new synergy partnerships, and take the Exchange to the next level.

Follow these three easy steps to register and post your material:

  1. Go to: MaterialsInnovationExchange.com
  2. REGISTER ? Registering allows you to post or respond to material ads. Create your free user account on the Exchange by clicking on Register located at the top right hand side of the screen and follow the instructions to create your account.
  3. POST YOUR MATERIAL ? Click on the big orange button located to the far right hand side of the screen that says, post your material. Enter your information into the form and submit it for approval. All submissions are reviewed prior to being posted to the Exchange. Transactions are free and are the responsibility of the transaction participants.
